The project consists of establishing (20) field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, each field hospital can accommodate (100) internal beds, and is equipped with medical supplies and devices; through which minor and medium surgeries can be performed and the necessary treatments can be provided to the injured and sick in Gaza. The basic components of the project:
A field hospital with a bed capacity of up to 100 beds, supported by an operating room, intensive care, emergency clinic, and outpatient clinic.
The hospital needs a land area estimated at 18,500 m² and needs a large tent for patient beds, in addition to several small tents for emergency rooms, intensive care, outpatients, radiology, medical analysis, warehouse, food, and rest.
Sterilization devices, respirators: artificial respirators and oxygen, and standard equipment: blood pressure, electrocardiogram, brain mapping device, and monitoring devices (monitor).
Surgical equipment and tools.
Diagnostic devices, a mobile and high-quality x-ray machine.
Medicines and medical supplies, and personal protective equipment.
Medical laboratory, equipment for conducting medical tests, blood and urine tests.
Storage and cooling equipment, at least one refrigerator for medicines and vaccines.
Electric generator: with a capacity of at least 100 to 200 KVA to ensure continuous electricity supply to the operating room, hospital equipment and facilities.
Water tank capable of supplying each individual with a rate of not less than 100 liters per day.
6 toilets, 4 for patients + 2 for staff
Medical information system to record and manage patient information and provide care.
Internal communication network and Internet network.
Transportation equipment: ICU ambulance and administrative transport vehicle.
Coordination with the Ministry of Health for the work of volunteer doctors, nurses, surgeons and well-trained medical technicians to ensure the provision of appropriate care.
